Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

Romans 14:6

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.

as well as for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten.

Leviticus 25:7

Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year will be food for you—for yourself, your male and female servants, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,

Leviticus 25:6

Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.

Leviticus 25:5

But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.

Leviticus 25:4

For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops.

Leviticus 25:3

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord.

Leviticus 25:2

so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.`”

Leviticus 23:43

Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters

Leviticus 23:42

Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.

Leviticus 23:41

On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees—and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

These offerings are in addition to those for the Lord`s Sabbaths and in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the Lord.)

Leviticus 23:38

(“‘These are the Lord`s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the Lord—the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day.

Leviticus 23:37

For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the Lord. It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.

The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.
